Aviation Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organised and results-oriented Aviation Project Manager to oversee key initiatives within their Belfast -based operations. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of aviation-related projects, from conception and planning through to execution and completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a challenging on-site position for a leader who can drive complex projects forward and foster collaboration among diverse project teams in the heart of Northern Ireland's aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of aviation projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage project teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Communicate project status, progress, and key decisions to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on the aviation industry .
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• A relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, APM).
