About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Aviation Safety Inspector to join their regulatory compliance team in Nottingham . This role is vital for ensuring that all aviation operations meet stringent safety standards and regulatory requirements. You will conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments of aircraft, facilities, and operational procedures to identify and rectify potential hazards. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of aviation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of aircraft, maintenance facilities, and operational procedures.
- Assess compliance with national and international aviation safety regulations (e.g., CAA, EASA).
- Identify safety hazards and risks, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Investigate safety-related incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up measures are implemented.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to operational staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, audits, and safety-related activities.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and participate in safety reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aviation Safety Inspector , regulatory auditor, or in a similar safety-focused role within aviation.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and flight operations.
- Excellent observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate inspection reports.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in aviation safety or regulation are highly preferred.
