About the Role

Our client is looking for vigilant and responsible Aviation Security Officers to join their team at the airport in Norwich . This essential role is responsible for maintaining a secure environment by conducting screenings, patrols, and monitoring surveillance systems to prevent unauthorized access and potential threats. You will play a critical part in ensuring the safety of passengers, staff, and aircraft. The ideal candidate will be highly observant, professional, and committed to upholding the highest security standards in aviation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct passenger and baggage screening using advanced security equipment (e.g., X-ray machines, metal detectors).
• Perform security patrols of airport facilities, including terminal buildings, aircraft stands, and restricted areas.
• Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to identify and report suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Respond effectively to security incidents and assist in emergency situations as required.
• Verify identification and authorization for access to secure areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military roles is advantageous.
• Ability to pass rigorous background checks and security clearance procedures.
