Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software for aviation applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders in a remote setting to define software requirements and architecture.
• Perform software integration, debugging, and performance optimization for complex aviation systems.
• Develop and maintain software documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, with a significant portion in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Ada, or Java, commonly used in safety-critical systems.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development.
• Familiarity with aviation software standards and certification processes (e.g., DO-178C).
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working effectively in a fully remote team environment.
