About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Avionics Systems Engineer to contribute to their innovative projects within the aerospace sector, based in their facility near Coventry . This role is critical for the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced avionics systems for next-generation aircraft. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate complex avionics systems, including communication, navigation, surveillance, and flight control systems.
• Perform system-level testing, simulation, and validation of avionics hardware and software components.
• Analyze flight data and system performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including airframe, software, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and certification data for regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the development and testing phases of avionics projects in Coventry .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in avionics systems design, integration, and testing within the aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ARINC, DO-178C, and DO-254.
• Proficiency in using simulation tools and electronic test equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
