About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Integrator to join their team in Bristol . This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration of complex avionics systems within aircraft platforms. You will be responsible for managing the interface between different avionic components, software, and hardware, ensuring overall system functionality and performance. Working within a hybrid model, you will collaborate closely with design, test, and validation engineers to deliver robust and reliable avionics solutions that meet the demanding requirements of the aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the integration requirements for avionics systems and subsystems.
• Develop and execute system integration test plans and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Work closely with software and hardware development teams to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Document integration processes, test results, and system configurations.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on system architecture and integration strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in avionics systems integration within the aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with avionics communication protocols (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553).
• Experience with system integration testing methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of aircraft electrical systems and power distribution.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
