About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Avionics Systems Specialist to join their engineering team in Coventry . In this hybrid role, you will be at the forefront of designing, integrating, and testing cutting-edge avionics systems for next-generation aircraft. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless functionality and compliance with stringent aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement avionics system architectures and interfaces.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of avionics hardware and software components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within integrated avionics systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system requirements, design reviews, and integration strategies.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs and implementations comply with aviation regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in avionics systems engineering or development.
- Proficiency with avionics standards such as ARINC, MIL-STD, and DO-178C/DO-254.
- Experience with simulation tools and test equipment for avionics systems.
- Knowledge of flight control systems , navigation aids, and communication equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills for hybrid work environments.
