About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join their expanding maintenance facility in Coventry . In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of complex avionic systems on commercial aircraft. This position is vital for maintaining the advanced technological infrastructure of our fleet, ensuring seamless communication, navigation, and flight control operations. Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, calibrate, and repair a wide range of avionic systems, including communication, navigation, autopilot, and flight management systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting guides to diagnose system faults.
• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on avionic equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Document all maintenance actions, findings, and rectifications accurately in the maintenance logbook.
• Collaborate with airframe and power plant mechanics to integrate avionic systems seamlessly.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Avionics Technician in a commercial aviation environment.
• Hold relevant certifications or qualifications in avionic systems maintenance.
• Proficiency in using avionic test equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Solid understanding of aviation electronics, digital systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
