About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Avionics Technician to join their established aviation maintenance facility in Coventry . This role is pivotal in maintaining the sophisticated electronic systems that are essential for modern aircraft operation. You will be responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of all avionics equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and repair aircraft avionics and electrical systems, including navigation, communication, and autopilot equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex avionics issues using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and schematics to perform repairs accurately.
• Maintain meticulous records of all work performed, including component serial numbers and test results.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless integration of avionics systems.
• Stay updated on new avionics technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

• Experience as an Avionics Technician or in a closely related field.
• Familiarity with aircraft electrical systems and a wide range of avionics components.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment specific to avionics.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
