About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technician to join their engineering team in Bristol . This role is essential for the maintenance, repair, and installation of complex electronic systems onboard aircraft, ensuring their optimal performance and safety. You will work with state-of-the-art avionics equipment, contributing to the reliability and airworthiness of the fleet, and be part of a highly skilled team dedicated to technical excellence in the aviation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft avionic systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings to diagnose and resolve system faults.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment used for avionics system checks.
- Document all work performed, including repairs, modifications, and inspections, in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure the highest quality of avionics maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Avionics Technician, preferably with specific aircraft type ratings.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in avionics or aviation electronics.
- Strong understanding of aircraft electrical and electronic systems, including digital and analog circuitry.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment specific to avionics systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to aviation safety standards.
