About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Avionics Technician to contribute to their aviation maintenance operations in Coventry . In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of complex avionic systems across various aircraft types. You will work within a team of skilled professionals, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and technical expertise to ensure the seamless functioning of communication, navigation, and flight control systems. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine checks, functional tests, and detailed inspections of all aircraft avionic systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in communication, navigation, radar, and autopilot systems.
- Install new avionic equipment and upgrade existing systems according to technical specifications.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and schematics to guide troubleshooting and repair efforts.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance performed on avionic systems.
- Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Avionics Technician in an aviation environment.
- Strong knowledge of avionic system principles, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
- Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and diagnostic software.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in avionic systems maintenance (e.g., EASA Part-66 B2).
- Ability to read and understand complex technical documentation and schematics.
- Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills.
