About the Role

Our client requires a skilled Avionics Technician to join their engineering team based in Bradford . This position involves the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of complex aircraft electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems. You will work on a variety of aircraft, ensuring all avionics equipment meets stringent performance and safety standards. This is a hands-on role for a technician with a strong electrical and electronic background in the aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and repair aircraft avionics systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic system malfunctions using specialized test equipment.
• Interpret avionics schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Perform system upgrades and modifications as required.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements

• Experience as an Avionics Technician in the aviation industry.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and autopilot systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electronic schematics and technical documentation.
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in avionics.
