Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionic systems and components, including radios, navigation systems, autopilots, and radar.
- Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and performance specifications for avionic equipment.
- Calibrate avionic instruments and test equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities performed on avionic systems.
- Work closely with other maintenance personnel and flight crews to address avionic-related issues promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest avionic technologies, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Avionics Technician in an aviation environment.
- Possession of relevant certifications or equivalent trade qualifications in avionics.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft electronic systems, troubleshooting techniques, and testing procedures.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and hand tools specific to avionic maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
