About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Avionics Technician to join their expanding operations in Edinburgh . This role is integral to ensuring the seamless functioning of all electronic systems on board our aircraft, contributing significantly to flight safety and navigation accuracy. You will be responsible for the installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of a wide array of avionics equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electrical and electronic systems and components.
• Interpret avionics schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Maintain and calibrate a range of test equipment and avionics diagnostic tools.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements, company procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
• Work effectively within a team, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment, with a degree of flexibility for hybrid working.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Avionics Technician in an aviation environment.
• Solid understanding of avionic systems, including communication, navigation, radar, and flight control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and documentation.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment relevant to avionics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
