Azure Data Factory Developer / 8 Months Rolling Contract / Sunbury

Job Description

• Location : Sunbury On Thames
• Duration : 8 Months Rolling Contract

PS: No Architects and strategists please . Only Developers and people who can do heavy lifting work required.

The Database Engineer will ideally possess the following key skills:

• Excellent experience working with IaaS and Azure SQL server.
• Exposure to Big Data and NoSQL technologies.
• Solid scripting experience and experience of working with Azure data factory
• Worked in an Agile, CI environment with VSTS and understands unit testing.
• Able to create data transformations and data pipelines.
• Have worked on data ingestion (structured and unstructured data) from various sources such as blob storage, excel, SAP and others to sql.
• Good understanding of Microsoft hub and spoke architecture.
• Have some programming skills.

The key technical skills are:

• Excellent experience of working with IaaS and Azure SQL server.

• In depth understanding of schema creation for databases, managing permissions.
• Able to create data transformations and data pipelines.
• Have worked on data ingestion (structured and unstructured data) from various sources such as blob storage, excel, SAP and others to SQL.
• Good understanding of Microsoft hub and spoke architecture.
• C#/Java/ Java Script / other programming skills.
