About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual for a Barista & Catering Support role in Plymouth . This position involves preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, as well as assisting with various catering duties such as food setup, service, and maintaining cleanliness during events or in a cafe setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for coffee, and a flexible approach to tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of coffee-based beverages and other drinks to a high standard.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and efficient manner, taking orders and handling payments.
• Assist with food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, and other light bites.
• Support the setup and breakdown of catering services for events or daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, service areas, and equipment.
• Replenish stock and ensure all necessary supplies are available.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing food and beverage role.
• Passion for coffee and a good understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to assist with various catering support tasks as needed.
