About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Beauty & Skincare Consultant to join their premium beauty service provider in Edinburgh . This hybrid role involves providing expert advice, personalized consultations, and product recommendations to clients, both in-person at the boutique and virtually. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, explaining the benefits of various treatments and products, and ensuring a seamless customer journey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct personalized consultations with clients to understand their skincare concerns and beauty aspirations.
• Recommend appropriate skincare products and beauty treatments based on individual client needs and skin types.
• Educate clients on product usage, application techniques, and the benefits of specific ingredients and treatments.
• Assist clients with product selection, managing inventory, and processing sales transactions accurately.
• Provide follow-up support to clients, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
• Stay informed about new beauty trends, product launches, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the beauty or skincare industry.
• Excellent knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and basic beauty treatments.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.
• Ability to adapt between in-person client interaction and virtual consultation.
• A passion for beauty and a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further certifications in beauty or skincare are a plus.
