Pay Rate: £107.71 - £111.85 per day

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with behavioural, emotional and additional needs ?

We are working with welcoming SEND and SEMH schools across Rochdale who are looking for dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to join their teams.

The Role

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may experience SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, anxiety, ADHD, ASC and other additional needs .

You will help pupils to:

• Develop positive behaviour and coping strategies
• Manage emotions and regulate their behaviour
• Build confidence and positive relationships
• Engage with learning and school activities
• Develop social and communication skills
• Overcome barriers to learning

You may provide 1:1 or small-group support , working alongside teachers and other professionals to create a safe, supportive learning environment.

Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour, SEND, ADHD or ASC is highly desirable.
