A supportive and inclusive specialist school in Bracknell is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working with pupils who have a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs.

As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to manage their emotions, develop positive coping strategies and engage successfully with their education.

The successful Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant will play an important role in creating a calm, structured and supportive environment. You will build strong and trusting relationships with pupils, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and develop confidence, resilience and independence.

As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs Help pupils develop strategies to manage behaviour and emotional regulation Promote positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day Support pupils both inside and outside of the classroomThis Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant role is ideal for individuals with experience in behaviour support, youth work, mentoring, coaching, care or education.
