Role Overview - Bench Joiner
As part of our expanding Production Team, we are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to contribute to the creation and restoration of exceptional timber products. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is passionate about precision craftsmanship and enjoys working with high-quality materials.
Key Responsibilities - Bench Joiner
* Manufacture and assemble bespoke timber windows for heritage and period properties from technical drawings and specifications.
* Produce replacement windows that accurately replicate original designs while meeting modern performance standards where required.
* Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
* Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
* Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow all health and safety procedures.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and delivery schedules.
Key Requirements - Bench Joiner
* Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, preferably with sash and casement window projects.
* Experience working on heritage, listed, or conservation projects is desirable.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Proficient in using classical woodworking machinery.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to read technical drawings and translate them into finished products.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to traditional craftsmanship and high-quality workmanship.
* Strong practical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
* A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
