Bench Joiner

Weareworking with a reputable client based in Derbyshirewho require a professional Bench Joiner to join their team. The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. The position is a permanent role paying £16.50 to £18.00 per hour(DOE). Working Hours: Monday - Friday - Day Shift (overtimealso available)

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing bespoke joinery items Laminating & bonding unitary using contact adhesives Edging, veneering, and preparing surfaces for finishing Ensuring all work is produced to a high standard of quality and within project deadlines Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace Skills & Experience Competent Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings Experience working with MDF, plywood, laminates and veneers Knowledge of working with solid surfaces - Corian / Krion / HI-MACS etc.. (preferable) High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of xehkeey a team Good time management and ability to meet deadlines Desirable (but not essential) Experience in spraying & topcoats Heat forming solid surfaces Knowledgeable in upholstery Forklift licence If you are interested in this positionor would like further information, please apply with an updated CV.
