BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient BIM Coordinator to join their forward-thinking team, working entirely remotely . In this crucial role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across a range of exciting architectural projects. You will ensure the effective use of BIM software and standards, collaborating with design teams to enhance project coordination, efficiency, and information accuracy. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce BIM standards and protocols across all projects.
• Develop and manage BIM execution plans (BEPs).
• Coordinate and federate models from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).
• Conduct clash detection and resolve model conflicts using Navisworks or similar software.
• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of BIM data throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and other BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Solibri).
• Understanding of different BIM dimensions and their application in construction.
• Experience with clash detection and resolution techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote team environment.
• Familiarity with UK BIM Framework standards is advantageous.
