About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and innovative BIM Coordinator to join their progressive construction and design team. This role is essential for managing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and data integration among all project stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing BIM standards, coordinating models, and facilitating the effective use of BIM technology to enhance project delivery and efficiency. This is a key position for driving the adoption of advanced digital construction techniques in a fully remote environment, contributing to the company's commitment to innovation and technological advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate BIM models for projects, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all disciplines.
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans and project-specific BIM protocols.
- Facilitate clash detection and resolution between different building systems and models.
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Maintain and manage the BIM content library and project data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related platforms.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project workflows in a remote setting.
