About the Role
Our client seeks a proficient BIM Coordinator to enhance their project delivery capabilities from their operations centre, supporting projects across the UK, including in Belfast . This role is integral to ensuring the effective implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes throughout the project lifecycle. You will play a key role in promoting BIM standards, developing models, and coordinating information exchange among project teams, contributing to improved efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration. This is an excellent remote opportunity for a BIM specialist aiming to influence digital construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans and protocols for projects.
- Coordinate the creation and management of BIM models from various disciplines, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Facilitate clash detection and resolution processes, working with project teams to address design conflicts proactively.
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
- Manage and maintain the project's Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure efficient information sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry best practices, recommending improvements to workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role.
- Strong proficiency with Revit , Navisworks, and other leading BIM software applications.
- Thorough understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Experience in coordinating federated models and performing clash detection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams.
- Familiarity with CDE platforms and digital construction tools.
