BIM Manager - Digital Transformation

About the Role

Our client is embarking on a significant digital transformation and seeks a visionary BIM Manager to lead this initiative across their organisation. Based remotely, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy, standards, and workflows. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise to drive efficiency, enhance collaboration, and elevate the quality of our client's architectural and construction projects. You will champion the adoption of digital technologies, ensuring best practices are embedded throughout the project lifecycle and fostering a culture of innovation and digital excellence from your remote workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's BIM strategy , standards, and protocols.
• Lead the adoption and integration of BIM technologies and workflows across all design and construction phases.
• Provide technical leadership and training to project teams on BIM software and processes.
• Oversee the creation and management of BIM models and associated data.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful BIM implementation on projects.
• Stay abreast of emerging digital construction technologies and best practices, recommending adoption where appropriate.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a BIM management or leadership role within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful BIM strategies and standards.
• Deep technical knowledge of BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and common data environments (CDEs).
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards and digital project delivery.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
• Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fully remote setting.
