About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced BIM Manager to spearhead their Building Information Modelling (BIM) initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage BIM strategies and support project teams across the UK . You will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM standards, workflows, and protocols, ensuring that projects leverage the full potential of BIM technology. Your role will involve training and supporting project teams, collaborating with external stakeholders, and driving the adoption of digital construction practices to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain company-wide BIM standards , templates, and workflows.
- Oversee the implementation of BIM on projects, ensuring compliance with Employer's Information Requirements (EIRs) and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and processes.
- Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate effective BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Manage and curate project model data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and digital construction methods.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in BIM coordination or management within the construction industry .
- Expert proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM best practices.
- Strong communication, training, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively remotely.
