Biostatistician - Clinical Data Analysis

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and skilled Biostatistician to join their fully remote data science team. This role is pivotal in designing statistical analysis plans, performing complex statistical analyses, and interpreting clinical trial data to support drug development and regulatory submissions. You will collaborate closely with clinical, statistical, and programming teams to ensure the integrity and validity of study results. Key Responsibilities

• Design statistical analysis plans (SAPs) for clinical trials in accordance with study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform statistical analyses using SAS, R, or other statistical software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to SAPs.
• Interpret statistical results and collaborate with clinical teams to translate findings into actionable insights.
• Develop and validate statistical programs and tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) for clinical study reports and regulatory submissions.
• Contribute to the design of clinical trials, providing statistical expertise on endpoints, sample size calculations, and study design methodology.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices for statistical analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SAS (required) and/or R.
• In-depth understanding of clinical trial design, statistical methodologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH, FDA, EMA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
