About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Biostatistician to join their clinical research team in Leeds . This hybrid role involves working both on-site and remotely, contributing to the statistical design, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and validity of trial data, providing essential statistical expertise to guide drug development programs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs) for clinical trials, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data using SAS, R, or similar software.
- Design clinical trial protocols, including sample size calculations and randomization schemes.
- Interpret statistical results and contribute to the preparation of clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and publications.
- Collaborate with clinical operations, data management, and medical affairs teams to ensure data quality and accurate analysis.
- Present statistical findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a biostatistician in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on clinical trials .
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as SAS and/or R.
- Strong understanding of statistical principles relevant to clinical trial design and analysis (e.g., survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis).
- Experience with regulatory requirements for clinical trials (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts clearly.
