Biostatistician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Biostatistician to join their expanding data science and analytics team, offering a fully remote working arrangement. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the statistical design of clinical trials, analysis of clinical data, and interpretation of results to support drug development and regulatory submissions. You will collaborate closely with clinical operations, data management, and regulatory affairs teams. Key Responsibilities

• Design clinical trial protocols, including sample size calculations and statistical analysis plans.
• Perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data using SAS or R, ensuring adherence to statistical principles.
• Interpret statistical results and contribute to the writing of clinical study reports (CSRs) and other regulatory documents.
• Provide statistical expertise and support to cross-functional project teams throughout the drug development lifecycle.
• Develop and implement statistical methodologies for data analysis and modeling.
• Stay current with advancements in statistical methodologies and regulatory guidelines relevant to pharmaceutical research.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as SAS and/or R.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods used in clinical trials and survival analysis.
• Familiarity with ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements for statistical submissions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
