About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Blockchain Data Analyst to join their analytical team in Cambridge . This role involves diving deep into blockchain data to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making. You will work with large datasets from various blockchains, applying analytical techniques to understand network activity, user behavior, and market dynamics within the cryptocurrency space. Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze data from various public and private blockchain networks.
Develop and implement data models and analytical frameworks to identify key trends and patterns.
Create dashboards and reports to visualize blockchain data and present findings to stakeholders.
Monitor on-chain metrics, transaction volumes, and network health indicators.
Conduct research on market trends, tokenomics, and competitor activity within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define data requirements and improve data infrastructure.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on blockchain or cryptocurrency data.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
Understanding of blockchain technology, transaction structures, and common data sources.
Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable business insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
