About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement core blockchain protocols and consensus algorithms.

• Contribute to the research and development of new blockchain features and improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Engineer or in a related role focusing on low-level systems or distributed computing.
• Strong proficiency in at least one systems programming language such as Go, Rust, or C++.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, cryptography, and network protocols.
• Experience with blockchain consensus mechanisms (e.g., Proof-of-Work, Proof-of-Stake) and their implementation.
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to complex technical projects in Plymouth .
