About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Blockchain Engineer to join their innovative technology team based in Sunderland . You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our blockchain infrastructure and applications, contributing to the creation of secure and efficient decentralized systems. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Integrate blockchain technology into existing systems and build new blockchain-based products.
• Optimize blockchain performance, scalability, and security through rigorous testing and analysis.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new blockchain solutions .
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to blockchain networks and applications.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer or Engineer.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Solidity, JavaScript, or Python.
• Understanding of blockchain concepts , distributed ledger technology, and cryptography.
• Experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Solana, or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
