Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable blockchain networks .
• Configure, deploy, and maintain nodes, validators, and related network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimal operation.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the blockchain network through robust security protocols and practices.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions to maintain network uptime.
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure seamless integration between network infrastructure and applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Systems Administrator, with a significant focus on blockchain technologies .
• Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), distributed systems, and consensus mechanisms.
• Experience with setting up and managing nodes for various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Polkadot).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles relevant to network infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting, ideally with a link to Portsmouth .
