About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Blockchain Platform Engineer to join their dedicated technical team in Southampton . This role is crucial for building and maintaining the robust infrastructure that supports our innovative blockchain products and services. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain blockchain nodes and network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the blockchain network through robust protocols and practices.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of blockchain infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and applications onto the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to blockchain network operations and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, or backend development, with a focus on blockchain technology .
• Experience with operating blockchain nodes (e.g., Geth, Parity, Besu) and understanding network configurations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
