Blockchain Platform Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Blockchain Platform Engineer to join their team in Oxford . You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the underlying infrastructure that powers our innovative blockchain solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of distributed systems, network operations, and a passion for the crypto and blockchain industry. Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain blockchain nodes and network infrastructure.
• Monitor network health, performance, and security, implementing proactive measures.
• Develop and automate deployment, scaling, and management processes for blockchain platforms.
• Collaborate with smart contract developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Implement and manage security protocols to protect the network and its assets.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new blockchain features and infrastructure upgrades.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Engineer or in a related infrastructure role.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, including consensus mechanisms and network architecture.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
