About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Blockchain Platform Engineer to join their technology team in Portsmouth . This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing the core infrastructure that supports our blockchain operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our blockchain networks and related systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an infrastructure-focused engineer to gain deep expertise in the Crypto & Blockchain space and contribute to the foundation of our innovative products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage blockchain nodes and network infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for scalability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect blockchain networks and associated data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring high availability of blockchain services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies and distributed ledger systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and system monitoring tools, relevant for roles in Portsmouth .
