About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Blockchain Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team in Wolverhampton . You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the infrastructure that powers our blockchain solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of distributed systems, network protocols, and the specific nuances of blockchain technology. You will work closely with development teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform, contributing directly to the success of our innovative projects in the crypto and blockchain space.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage blockchain nodes and network infrastructure.
• Develop and implement tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting of blockchain network health.
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with smart contract developers to integrate new features and applications onto the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the development of automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer , DevOps Engineer, or Systems Administrator with a strong focus on blockchain technology .
• In-depth knowledge of blockchain networks (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger) and their underlying architecture.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure automation tools.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and security best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
