Blockchain QA Engineer

About the Role

Your role will involve developing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with developers to resolve issues. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for blockchain applications and smart contracts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers to understand features and resolve issues effectively.
• Verify the security and integrity of smart contract implementations.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and automation strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with specific experience testing blockchain applications or smart contracts.
• Strong understanding of blockchain concepts, including distributed ledgers and consensus mechanisms.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and experience with automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management software (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Basic knowledge of smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
