About the Role
Our client is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Blockchain Security Analyst to join their growing team in Coventry . You will conduct in-depth security assessments, monitor network activity for suspicious behavior, and develop strategies to enhance overall security posture. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts , blockchain protocols, and decentralized applications.
- Monitor blockchain networks for anomalies, potential attacks, and unauthorized activities.
- Develop and implement security best practices and incident response plans for blockchain environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on blockchain-related infrastructure.
- Analyze transaction patterns and on-chain data to detect fraudulent or malicious activity.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations on security enhancements to development teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a security analyst , with a significant focus on blockchain technologies.
- Deep understanding of blockchain security principles, cryptography, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency in analyzing smart contract code for vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflows).
- Experience with security tools for blockchain analysis and monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of network security, penetration testing, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid model.
