Blockchain Security Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Blockchain Security Analyst to join their security-focused team, working remotely from Belfast . In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our blockchain infrastructure and digital assets against emerging threats. You will conduct rigorous security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with smart contracts, dApps, and network protocols. This position is ideal for a security professional passionate about the Crypto & Blockchain space, looking to contribute to the security and integrity of decentralized systems on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits and penetration testing of smart contracts and blockchain applications.
• Identify, analyze, and report on vulnerabilities and security risks within the blockchain ecosystem.
• Develop and implement security best practices, policies, and procedures for blockchain development and operations.
• Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior and respond to security incidents effectively.
• Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated into the entire blockchain development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in blockchain security or smart contract auditing.
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with security analysis tools and techniques for smart contracts and blockchain networks.
• Knowledge of programming languages commonly used in blockchain development (e.g., Solidity, JavaScript, Python).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote setting, based in or near Belfast .
