About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Blockchain Security Analyst to join their security operations team in Reading . In this critical role, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats across our blockchain networks and associated applications. Your expertise will be vital in safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring the integrity of our operations within the fast-paced crypto and blockchain industry. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor blockchain networks and transaction activity for suspicious patterns and security anomalies.
• Investigate potential security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and determine root causes.
• Develop and implement security alerts and monitoring tools specific to blockchain environments.
• Respond to security incidents, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on blockchain-related systems and smart contracts.
• Stay updated on the latest threats, exploits, and security best practices within the crypto and blockchain space.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Analyst or similar role, with a focus on blockchain security .
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, transaction flows, and common vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools and SIEM platforms.
• Experience with threat intelligence gathering and analysis related to cryptocurrencies and decentralized platforms.
• Knowledge of smart contract security principles and auditing techniques is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
