About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant Blockchain Security Analyst to join their team in Glasgow . You will play a critical role in safeguarding our client's blockchain infrastructure and digital assets. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activity, potential attacks, and unauthorized transactions.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop remediation strategies.
• Conduct security assessments of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and related infrastructure.
• Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends in the blockchain and cryptocurrency domain.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for blockchain operations.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure the security of deployed solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on blockchain security or cryptocurrency-related risks.
• Understanding of blockchain technologies, consensus mechanisms, and common vulnerabilities.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
• Knowledge of smart contract security principles and auditing techniques is highly desirable.
