About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and insightful Blockchain Security Analyst to join their cybersecurity team in Nottingham . In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats across our blockchain infrastructure and associated applications. Your expertise will be critical in safeguarding digital assets and ensuring the integrity of our platforms within the fast-paced crypto and blockchain industry. You will work closely with engineers and security professionals to identify vulnerabilities, implement proactive security measures, and maintain a secure operating environment. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor blockchain networks and systems for security incidents and suspicious activities.
• Investigate security alerts and perform root cause analysis of security breaches.
• Develop and refine security monitoring tools and procedures for blockchain environments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on blockchain platforms and smart contracts.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to contain and mitigate security threats effectively.
• Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends in the blockchain space.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cybersecurity analysis, with a focus on blockchain security or related fields.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contract vulnerabilities , and common attack vectors.
• Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and threat intelligence analysis.
• Knowledge of network security principles and secure coding practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
