About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and security-focused Blockchain Security Auditor to join their dedicated team in Glasgow . In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring the security of smart contracts, dApps, and other blockchain-based systems. Your expertise will be vital in protecting our clients and their assets from potential threats within the crypto and blockchain ecosystem. You will work on a variety of projects, providing detailed analysis and actionable recommendations to enhance the security posture of our blockchain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts , dApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Identify, analyze, and document security vulnerabilities, including reentrancy, integer overflows, and logic errors.
• Develop and execute test plans to assess the security and resilience of blockchain systems.
• Provide clear and actionable remediation guidance to development teams.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, attack vectors, and best practices in the blockchain space.
• Contribute to the development of automated security testing tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing, or security auditing, with a specialization in blockchain security .
• Strong understanding of smart contract programming languages (e.g., Solidity) and blockchain fundamentals.
• Proficiency in using security analysis tools and frameworks.
• Experience with code review and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex security findings effectively.
