About the Role

Our client, a prominent firm in the crypto and blockchain industry, is seeking a meticulous Blockchain Security Auditor to join their dedicated team in Oxford . You will be responsible for rigorously assessing the security of smart contracts, decentralized applications, and blockchain protocols to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities. This critical role ensures the integrity and safety of our clients' assets and systems in the complex world of decentralized finance, contributing to a culture of trust and security throughout the blockchain ecosystem, safeguarding innovative projects from exploitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts , dApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Identify vulnerabilities, bugs, and security weaknesses in code and system architecture.
• Provide detailed reports with findings and actionable recommendations for remediation.
• Develop and refine security testing methodologies and tools for blockchain projects.
• Stay informed about the latest threats, exploits, and security best practices in the crypto space.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Auditor, Penetration Tester, or similar role with a specialization in blockchain security.
• In-depth knowledge of smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity) and common vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow).
• Experience with security analysis tools and frameworks for blockchain.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, network security, and distributed systems.
• Ability to analyze complex codebases and identify potential security risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
