About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Blockchain Security Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis. You will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. This is a critical role focused on protecting our assets and user data from threats in the rapidly evolving crypto and blockchain landscape. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts , blockchain protocols, and decentralized applications.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and weaknesses in our blockchain infrastructure.
• Develop and implement security best practices, tools, and methodologies for blockchain development.
• Perform penetration testing and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and implement remediation strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends in the crypto space.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Security Engineer , Security Analyst, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of blockchain security principles, common vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Experience with security auditing tools and techniques for smart contracts and blockchain platforms.
• Proficiency in analyzing and securing various blockchain networks and protocols.
• Understanding of cryptography and its application in blockchain security.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
