About the Role

Our client seeks an innovative and experienced Blockchain Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced blockchain systems in Newcastle upon Tyne . In this strategic position, you will define the technical vision for our blockchain initiatives, oversee the architecture of new platforms, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design and document end-to-end blockchain architectures, including consensus mechanisms, network topology, and security protocols.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain technologies, platforms, and tools for various project requirements.
• Translate complex business needs into detailed technical specifications for blockchain solutions.
• Lead the technical implementation of blockchain projects, ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business units to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide expert guidance on blockchain security , scalability, and performance optimization strategies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in software architecture, with a significant focus (3+ years) on blockchain and distributed ledger technologies .
• Proven track record of designing and deploying enterprise-grade blockchain solutions.
• Deep understanding of various blockchain frameworks (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda, Ethereum).
• Expertise in cryptography , consensus algorithms, and network protocols.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
