About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Blockchain Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy and design of blockchain initiatives from their offices in Newcastle upon Tyne . In this critical role, you will be instrumental in defining the architectural blueprints for complex blockchain ecosystems, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, working closely with development teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver transformative blockchain applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design and document end-to-end blockchain architectures for enterprise-level solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate blockchain platforms, protocols, and technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to blockchain development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and define technical roadmaps.
• Develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and prototypes to validate architectural designs and explore new use cases.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards in all architectural designs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with a minimum of 5 years focused on blockchain technology .
• Deep understanding of various blockchain platforms (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, Corda) and their architectures.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise blockchain solutions .
• Expertise in smart contract design patterns, distributed ledger technologies (DLT), and cryptographic principles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with blockchain.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
