About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary Blockchain Solutions Architect to join their innovative team in Cardiff . This role is central to defining the technical architecture and strategy for new blockchain-based products and services. You will translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient blockchain solutions, working across diverse projects in the Crypto & Blockchain space. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned architect to leverage their deep technical expertise and strategic thinking to guide development efforts and contribute to the creation of next-generation decentralized systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical architectures for blockchain solutions, considering scalability, security, and performance.
- Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, protocols, and technologies for specific project requirements.
- Develop technical roadmaps and provide guidance on implementation strategies for new blockchain initiatives.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical vision and execution.
- Create detailed technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation for proposed blockchain solutions.
- Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized ecosystems.
Requirements
- Significant experience in designing and implementing complex distributed systems, with a focus on blockchain technology.
- Strong understanding of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana), consensus mechanisms, and tokenomics.
- Proficiency in smart contract development principles and experience with languages such as Solidity .
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
