Blockchain Solutions Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Blockchain Solutions Architect to join their fully remote team, with a focus on operations originating from Southampton . You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex blockchain solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of various blockchain platforms, consensus mechanisms, and enterprise-level integration. You will guide development teams and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of scalable and secure decentralized systems, operating in a completely remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end blockchain solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, protocols, and technologies for implementation.
• Define technical standards, governance models, and security frameworks for blockchain deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and business analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers working on blockchain initiatives.
• Develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and prototypes to validate architectural designs.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect with a significant focus on blockchain technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda) and their underlying architectures.
• Strong understanding of distributed ledger technology (DLT), cryptography, and consensus algorithms.
• Experience with smart contract development and deployment strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote , collaborative setting.
